ScoreCentral Privacy Policy
Effective Date: July 15, 2026
Last Updated: July 17, 2026
This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) explains how Second and Goal Software, LLC (“Company,” “we,” “us”) collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the scorecentral.live website and related ScoreCentral applications and services (the “Service”). By using the Service, you consent to the data practices described in this Policy.
1. Scope
This Policy applies to information we process when you use the Service. It does not apply to third-party websites or services we do not control, or to the privacy practices of the organizations (leagues, conferences, clubs, and teams) that use ScoreCentral to manage their own data (“Organizations”). Where an Organization uses the Service to record or publish information about its members or participants, that Organization is generally responsible for its own privacy practices.
2. Information We Collect
Information you provide directly:
  • Account information — first and last name, email address, and a password (which we store only in hashed form) for registered users. Visitors browsing schedules, scores, and standings do not need an account.
  • Registration questionnaire — if you ask to bring your organization onto ScoreCentral, we collect your name, email address, organization name, and details about how your organization is structured.
  • Organization content — schedules, scores, standings, and related league information you enter or generate through the Service.
  • Communications — messages you send to us for support or other inquiries.
Information collected automatically:
  • Usage and log data — IP address, browser type, device information, domain names, access times, pages viewed, and referring website addresses. This information is used to operate the Service, maintain its quality, and produce general statistics about use of the Service.
  • Authentication data — tokens and basic profile details stored in your browser’s local storage to keep you signed in.
  • Cookies and similar technologies — see Section 6.
We do not collect biometric information. We do not collect payment card or other payment information through the Service. Payment for services is collected via a third-party invoicer (Merchant of Record).
3. How We Use Information
We use information to:
  • provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Service;
  • create and manage accounts and authenticate users;
  • process and display Organization content (scores, schedules, standings, and history);

  • respond to support requests and registration inquiries;
  • monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the Service, including generating general statistics about how the Service is used; and

5. Cookies and Similar Technologies
The Service uses Google Tag Manager to load site-measurement tags, including Google Analytics. These technologies set cookies and collect information about how visitors use the site, such as pages viewed, approximate location derived from IP address, and browser and device information. We use this information to understand and improve how the Service is used.
We also use your browser’s local storage to keep registered users signed in (authentication tokens and basic profile details) and to remember preferences, such as notices you have dismissed.
Web fonts are delivered by Google Fonts; Google receives your IP address when fonts are requested.
You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings, though disabling them may affect functionality.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and thereafter as necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we take reasonable steps to delete or de-identify it. Backups may persist for a limited additional period.

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a copy of your personal information, to opt out of certain processing, and to withdraw consent. We do not sell personal information, and we do not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
To exercise any available rights, contact us at support@scorecentral.live. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
Right to deletion. Subject to the exceptions below, on receipt of a verifiable request from you, we will delete your personal information from our records and direct any service providers to delete your personal information from their records. We may not be able to comply with a deletion request if the information is necessary to:
  • complete the transaction for which the personal information was collected, provide a good or service requested by you or reasonably anticipated within the context of our ongoing business relationship with you, or otherwise perform a contract between you and us;
  • detect security incidents; protect against malicious, deceptive, fraudulent, or illegal activity; or prosecute those responsible for that activity;
  • debug to identify and repair errors that impair existing intended functionality;
  • exercise free speech, ensure the right of another consumer to exercise his or her right of free speech, or exercise another right provided for by law;
  • comply with the California Electronic Communications Privacy Act;
  • engage in public or peer-reviewed scientific, historical, or statistical research in the public interest that adheres to all other applicable ethics and privacy laws, when deletion is likely to render impossible or seriously impair the research, provided we have obtained your informed consent;
  • enable solely internal uses that are reasonably aligned with your expectations based on your relationship with us;
  • comply with an existing legal obligation; or
  • otherwise use the information internally in a lawful manner that is compatible with the context in which you provided it.
Email communications. We currently send only transactional and service-related email (for example, registration follow-ups, account and security messages). If we ever send marketing or promotional email, it will include an unsubscribe link, and you may opt out of such messages at any time without affecting service-related email.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 or permit them to create accounts. If you are under 13, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission to use the Service.
10. Third-Party Links
The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices, and we encourage you to review their policies.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time — for example, when our services, our data practices, or the law change. If we make material changes, we will provide reasonable notice: by posting the updated Policy with a new “Last Updated” date, by placing a prominent notice on the website, and/or by sending an email to the primary email address associated with your account.
